[Reporter Lee Jung-hyun of E-Daily] Ranix (317120) (CEO Choi Seung-wook) announced on the 11th that it has signed a business cooperation MOU with the Korea Senior Research Institute, including welfare equipment and non-payment service projects, new business development, and cooperation in entering the Japanese market.
On the 3rd, Ranix signed an MOU with Silver Tech Company Korea Senior Research Institute (CEO Lee Jin-yeol) at its headquarters in Gangnam, Ranix for "Senior Healthcare Business Cooperation" to utilize Ranix's radar solution in the service business network of Ranix.
The main contents of the agreement are △ promotion of joint projects based on senior healthcare products, services and infrastructure owned by both companies △ mutual technology and service cooperation in promoting senior healthcare projects in Korea and Japan △ development, demonstration, and sales.
Ranix's radar technology can detect users' emergencies more accurately and quickly through detection of falls by seniors and detection of minute biological signals (heartbeat, breathing, and small movements) by detecting human movements and bio-signals. The Korea Senior Research Institute is a silver tech company that innovates the offline-oriented nursing industry into IT technology and services. It operates an integrated home care service brand "Smile Senior" and currently has partnerships with more than 60 visiting care centers nationwide.
With Ranix's solution, the two companies will cooperate in welfare equipment and non-payment service businesses (proven, commercialization cooperation) through the Korea Senior Research Institute's service business network. In the long run, we expect positive commercialization results by jointly responding to new business development and entry into the Japanese market based on the solution.
"We expect Ranix's healthcare radar technology to be commercialized quickly through this business agreement with the Korea Senior Research Institute," said Choi Seung-wook, CEO of Ranix. "We will continue to actively respond to domestic welfare equipment, non-payment service business, and global expansion through continuous demonstration and commercialization cooperation."
Lee Jin-yeol, CEO of the Korea Senior Research Institute, said, "We learned that the risk of falling and wandering of the elderly is the biggest concern for families. The premium welfare equipment of the Korea Senior Research Institute and Ranix's healthcare radar technology will meet to innovate the home care environment."
